I just received a wonderful gift from the city, stating I blew through an intersection 15mph over the limit, for which I get to pay $120. It gives the date and time, and I distinctly remember this, as when the camera flashed, I was startled a bit, and looked at the speedo in my car. It was at less than 55mph, with the speed limit at 50mph on this roadway. I'm on this road six to eight times a week, at least. I know where the cameras are, and I know the speed limit. I don't hit 65 on the damn highway at the moment, as the wonderful city streets have knocked my tires out of balance, so it is VERY noticeable if I go too fast. The cameras are supposedly set to go off at anything 12mph over the limit. As the Queen would say, "we are not amused". I can go to an "appeals" process, which is basically a city P.D. officer viewing the camera footage, and finding for the city in 99.9% of the cases. As I said, fucking bullshit.

I hate the idea of those things, I would seriously monkey mask it up to protest.
